Bio:
-
I grew up and studied medicine at the Karl Franzens University in Graz.
-
I graduated in 2002 with distinction in part 2 (preclinical sciences) and part 3 (clinical sciences).
-
After university, I moved to England and completed my postgraduate General Practice training in London.
-
In 2008, I moved to Perth with my young family, and after 3 months of sunshine and the best beaches in the world, I knew Perth was my new home.
-
I recognised quickly that skin cancer diagnosis and management are my passion, and I completed my first skin cancer certificate with the Skin Cancer College Australiasia in 2009.
-
Since 2015, I have worked in a dedicated skin cancer clinic in a Northern Suburb of Perth, in addition to working in General Practice.
-
I am a SCCA accredited skin cancer physician since 2018. I have over 15 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of skin cancers. I am competent in dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery, ranging from biopsies and simple excisions to more complex procedures such as skin grafts and flaps.
-
In my free time, I enjoy the great outdoors of WA (always SunSmart of course!) and I love spending quality time with my husband, two children and friends.
